Searching For an Accessible Unit on the Home Finder
The Home Finder contains a list of available, accessible housing units. Each listing has details about the location and size of the unit, accessibility features, cost, income requirements and contact information for the management agent. The units are listed with the most recent additions at the top, so if you have visited the Home Finder before, you will be able to begin with listings that are new to you. How to Search For an Accessible Unit on the Home Finder
You can search for an accessible unit on the Home Finder by neighborhood, by number of bedrooms, or you may see all listed units. On each page of listings, you will have a prompt that allows you to return to the main search page.
If There is a Unit Available that Meets Your Needs:
Contact the management company listed to obtain additional details and to arrange to complete an application.
If There are No Units Available that Meet Your Needs:
You may want to read Chapter 1 of the The Philly Primer
[Requires Adobe Acrobat Reader ], a publication of TAP. This chapter contains a list of all affordable accessible rental units in Philadelphia. The units listed are not necessarily available for rent at this time. The list, however, is a further resource to help you in your search for appropriate housing.
